The "Axis - Hot Pink" ornament was an early prototype for the Axis pattern.  The design was re-worked using larger concentric circles in both red and blue versions (2331B and 2331R - both in the active collection).  There are only a few of these prototypes - smaller circles of green, orange, and yellow set against a hot pink background.
