This ornament comes from the Thomas Glenn "Jazz Collection" introduced several seasons ago and is now a "retired" ornament.
The ornament was named in honor of Ella Fitzgerald (04/25/1917-06/15/1996), an American jazz singer often referred to as "The First Lady of Song." She was noted for her purity of tone, impeccable diction, phrasing, and intonation - and a "horn-like" improvisational ability, particulary in her scat singing.
