As always, the Thomas Glenn Holidays showroom in Atlanta was abuzz with retail buyers at both the January and July gift markets. Demand for the new designs was high, and reorders of perennial favorites were robust. Here are a few of the new designs that proved popular to the trade and are bound to catch your attention!
By far, #2421 "Snow Monster" was one of the top favorites of show attendees. The ornament features fuzzy spun cotton around the monster's head and face.
Another popular design, #2459 "Ginger" shows us a gingerbread face with lavish amounts of white icing dripping over the top:
An ornament that did not make it into production last year but was rolled out for this season is #2337, "I Think We Need A Bigger Tree" - a spoof on the shark from the movie "Jaws."
And for those of you who prefer the more "traditional" designs, the classically lovely "Still Still Still" ornament captures a peaceful scene of a deer in a snow-covered forest:
