Insects in general, and bees in particular, have been important themes in the Thomas Glenn Holidays collections over the years.  Here we have the queen bee - a nicely rendered insect with an ornamte crown over her head - to indicate her standing in the hive. The reverse side features an intricate honeycomb pattern.   A wonderful addition to any collection!
