This ornament pays homage to the great pointillist artist Georges Seurat.  The painting was completed from 1884-86, and the original is housed in the Art Institute of Chicago.  This amazingly detailed ball is a wonderful addition to the "artist" collection of Thomas Glenn Holidays.
