Most folks from the "baby-boomer" generation will remember this little device called an adapter.  It went into the center of 45 RPM records so that they could be played on a standard turntable.  This nod back to yesteryear from Thomas Glenn Holidays features colorful adapters playing across the surface of a matte white background.  The prototype did not make it into production.
