Paisley design originated in Iran and is characterized by the unique, teardrop-shaped buta.  It became popular in western culture in the 18th century.  Thomas Glenn Holidays has made extensive use of this design over the years, and the current active collection retains the pattern in lavender and in multi-colored against white.  This now-retired version features turquoise paisley against matte white.  Once sold, it will be removed from the website.
