This is a photo card first flight cover featuring the 5-cent airmail, Scott #C11.  The cover has the cachet showing "First Flight Inaugurating Air Mail Service" Elgin, ILL. and is postmarked Elgin, Ill, MAR 8, 5 PM, 1930".  The front of the card features text about the airport in Elgin that was created by the Elgin Association of Commerce.  There is a crease in the card where it had been previously folded, and another partial crease through the message box, but overall condiiton is good.
