The molded cat ornaments were some of the earliest Thomas Glenn Holidays designs in a molded format.  Various birds, cows, and other figural ornaments were added over the years, many of which are now retired styles.  The black cat has remained a favorite and can serve both as a Christmas ornament and for Halloween.
